Peter Mitchell

General Manager

Peter is General Manager of Cummins Design and Developments, bringing over 40 years of expertise and knowledge to C2DS.

While graduating from RMIT with a Bachelor of Construction in 1989, Peter’s professional journey started well before this, commencing his career as a Joiner.  In 1977, Peter joined the Coles Group holding numerous positions including Training Manager, Store Manager and District Manager. Recognising Peter’s commitment to always strive for better, Coles elevated Peter throughout the Group where he led numerous departments including responsibility for IT Deployments, Asset Management, Construction and Store Improvements. Peter’s tenure at Coles finished after more than a decade as Head of Construction, Maintenance and Merchandising.

Upon leaving Coles Peter held senior executive project management positions including with Metcash, BP, Anglican Schools Corporation, and a return to Coles Myer in project management delivery.
Peter and his team now bring this accumulated experience and passion to all aspects of design and development including tendering, construction, planograming, merchandising and store operations.

Peter is driven to deliver clients outstanding results from concept through to delivery with exemplary Project Management at the forefront of everything he does with an ethos that treats client’s investments like his own.

Yougan Naidoo

Lead Designer

Graduating from UTS with a Bachelor degree in Industrial Design, Yougan found a love and passion in creating designs with a strong User Experience which led to a Master’s Degree from Billy Blue College of Design majoring in UX.

Yougan brings a versatility of design experience over the different fields of production that includes: Point-of-Sale, Furniture, Exhibitions, and Retail. His keen eye for detail and creative idea exploration have given many products the leading edge.

  • Over 13 years of design experience

  • Proven history of managing design teams across industry, locations and client requirements – (Exhibition Design)

  • Vast expertise in a myriad of design programs including Solidworks / Adobe Package / AutoCAD / BricsCad / 3DS Max

  • Experience with creating practical design focused on User Experience that leads into a state of the art manufacturing, with vast experience integrating designs into CNC Machines / Laser Machine / Screen-printing Production Artwork / Digital Printing Production Artwork.

Mikhael Geordie

Designer

Mikhael has completed a Bachelor of Product Design from the University of Technology Sydney in 2018. He has since spent time developing and contributing modern and innovative ideas at Brian Cummins Group. In conjunction with this, he has also been supporting the UTS Industry Research in additive manufacturing.

Mikhael has been fortunate to win several international product design contest including the iF Design Award. This recognition spans multiple disciplines and has more than 5,500 entries from around 59 nations on year-end. Furthermore, Mikhael’s design has been listed as the winner of the Clue International Lighting competition held by Signify Lighting Academy which can be seen here. 

Born and raised in Jakarta, Mikhael’s work is a hybrid of his strong multicultural heritage and modern manufacturing technology. Mikhael prides himself on having a strong competency for an eye for details, and his ability to manage complex design processes. He is passionate about building a well-balanced design solution by utilising his extensive manufacturing knowledge in both conventional and additive methodologies. In addition to this, he is equipped with vast experience in CAD modelling, visualisation technology and digital media production.


Jillian Oliveros

Designer

Jillian has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from DLS-CSB Manila, Philippines and is passionate about innovation and providing design solutions.

Jillian’s extensive working experience includes design and product development in plastic, medical and electronics, having worked for multiple manufacturing companies.  Jillian is well-versed with different design and planning software and tools.

Alongside staying up to date with industry trends and a thirst for learning; Jillian cares passionately about delivery to clients – understanding effort, time and flexibility are needed in the delivery of quality and useful designs for customers.

Diego Jaime Beltran

Diego completed his Bachelor of Architecture in 2002, he then continued his studies in a Master of Architecture at the University of Sydney (graduating in 2006). During this time, he started his career in Sydney where he worked as a graduate of architecture in a medium sized architectural studio. He then joined a large commercial practice before opening his own studio (dmj Design Studio). While working in dmj Design Studio, Diego completed a wide number of small and large residential and commercial projects which he led from inception to completion. His main responsibilities were concept design, design development, construction documentation, construction management and contract administration. 

Diego’s interest lies in innovative sustainable design and construction methods. He is most interested in how his buildings will interact with natural elements in a sustainable way and the impact on the users and the wider community. In 2013 he and Edith formed Archebiosis Architects.

Edith Clark

Edith completed her bachelor of interior Architecture in 2002. Following her graduation she worked in a medium sized architectural practice here in Sydney before heading overseas to Germany where she worked as a designer in an architectural lighting company. On her return to Sydney, Edith joined a small interior design practice on Sydney’s North Shore – specialising in the interior design of high end residential properties. During this time, Edith returned to university to study her masters in Art Psychotherapy- to expand her understanding of human behaviour, aesthetics and the impact of the built environment on the human spirit.

In 2009 she joined a large architectural firm where she headed up the interior architecture arm of the business. As an associate, Edith was responsible for leading a team of designers on a number of commercial, hospitality, civic and multi residential projects. Her responsibilities ranged from concept to detailed design and documentation, project management, construction management and contract administration. In 2013 she and Diego formed Archebiosis Architects.

Brian Cummins Group - Managing Director

1989 Tracey and I Started BCG in the family garage with less than $800.00 doing building maintenance for Fast food chains. It was not long after that we leased our first factory supplying joinery equipment for our existing customers. From this humble beginnings we now employee 28 plus staff with representation in Queensland, NSW, Victoria and Western Australia. BCG is well know around Australia as a well respected company of which we are very proud. We now have 34+ years in bussiness and are looking forward to the future.

Simon Cummins

Group General Manager

As Group General Manager of the Brian Cummins Group of Companies (including C2DS) , Simon has overall responsibility for all aspects of the strategic, operational, sales and financial functions.

 

Simon has over twenty four years of experience managing complex facilities management and project deliverables spanning the entire life cycle of a project, focusing on a holistic approach to design, service, operational efficiency and environmental impact & sustainability. This depth of experience provides Simon with a well-rounded appreciation for all aspect of facilities and project management from the perspective of owners, tenants and service organisations.

 

Having held senior management roles in trade, operations, marketing, production and general management including with Asset Services, P&O and Spotless Group, Simon has a deep understanding of the challenges of turning great design into an outstanding tangible result, especially post delivery during the ongoing maintenance stage. It is this focus and experience that Simon is committed to provide C2DS clients with end-to-end design, production and project management to deliver clients outstanding outcomes.

 

Simon has a Degree in Business & Management from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Advanced Studies in Marketing (Management Institute), Contractor qualifications in Electrotechnology and Refrigeration/Air Conditioning with advanced studies in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) including HVAC efficiency, design and maintenance.

 

Simon has been recognised with a National Award from the Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH) and as a leader of the HVAC/Facilities Maintenance industry with recognition for his significant impact and contribution to the industry.
